FALL LEAVES

Fall brings lots of colors! We talked about how a dot takes a walk to make a line and drew the outline of a leaf. Then we talked about the lines inside of a leaf - called the veins. Fall leafs turn into the warm colors: red, orange, yellow. They also turn brown and sometimes keep a little of the green. We drew a leaf, colored it with warm colored crayons and then painted a green wash over the leaf to show that the leaf was once green. A wash is paint that is watered down.

Here are some samples of our beauitful fall leaves.
