To experience the primary colors we created a work in the style of the famous artist Piet Mondrian. He used lots of primary colors in his artwork. Here are some examples of our creations.

PRIMARY COLORS
Color is an element of art. We need color to create artwork and give it more interest. There are many families of colors... we have to start somewhere. The first family of colors is called the Primary Colors. The three primary colors are: red, yellow, blue. There is a "secret" about the primary colors. You can not make these colors by mixing any other colors together. But they do come from somewhere - plant dyes. For example, red can come from beets or strawberries. Yellow can come from the mustard seed/plant and blue can come from blueberries.
